This is hilarious and sort of how I felt at times watching the movie. It made me feel 14 and I actually sort of loved the audience reaction. Less laughing during than the first one. I am probably going to see it again this weekend.

My thoughts on New Moon and why you should not see it.

I saw New Moon last night at midnight. It wasn’t bad for a fan, I actually really liked the movie (more so than the book cause I really hate Team Jacob). If you haven’t read the books or aren’t a big fan of the first movie, don’t bother seeing it. You won’t enjoy it and you may be downright annoyed. My date hated it but was gracious enough not to be too critical. I made it worth his while, whatever.

It’s the middle book in a sappy love series, what else would you expect??? It also had a very different feel from Twilight. I would not expect the handful of friends who watched twilight “just because” to enjoy this one though. It was a lot like a media party, sometimes pretty and interesting to observe but very insidery and ultimately obnoxious.

OMG, I am absolutely exhausted today. I barely got any sleep last night. I think I am officially too old for midnight showings. I am going to go home after work and crawl into bed and nap. I probably didn’t fall asleep till 4:30am, I feel like I want to die right now.

Every year, I feel like I spend the week of Thanksgiving in a hungover haze. I am not feeling the whole fratty drinking thing this year. I think I might sign up and run the Prospect Park Turkey Trot for Thursday morning. I haven’t ran in a couple of weeks, but I can easily tap out a 10 minute mile on no training. That’s what comes with 9 years of being a runner.

Also re: this weekend, I am not getting wasted or staying up till 5am. I am, however, creating “art” for my living room. I have 5 blank canvases and I have not a fucking clue how I am gonna do this so stay tuned.

Because the Yankees support our organization, we somehow had access to the World Series Trophy last night. BY THE WAY, THIS THING IS HEAVILY GUARDED AND YOU AREN’T ALLOWED TO TOUCH IT.
